The Homeopathy Study Guide came about by pure accident. I am a qualified Naturopath, Homeopath, Herbalist, Nutritionist and Biologist. When I was a student, studying for the homeopathy exams was horrendous. Trying to remember the physical and mental symptoms, the modalities, the peculiar, queer, rare and strange characteristics and the clinical indications for all the homeopathic remedies soon became extremely confusing and stressful. I love to write and I began writing stories that incorporated the remedy picture. I exaggerated the characters and put them in surroundings that were vivid, colourful and wild. Learning became fun and most importantly, memorable and markedly less stressful. I have written approximately 150 stories. To have included every single characteristic and organ affected in a story of a particular remedy would be a near impossibility. I was guided at the time by the course curriculum and predominantly Frans Vermeulen’s Concordant Materia Medica. Everything that is underlined in the Homeopathy Study Guide story is to be remembered and is part of the Materia Medica of that Remedy.
